Change in management at Sadolin & Albæk
23-04-2009: Kurt Albæk resigns as partner and managing director.
Kurt Albæk, one of the co-founders of Sadolin & Albæk, now resigns as partner and managing director/CEO. In stead, he is appointed chairman of the company's board of directors. This is effected as part of a gradual generational change, which was iniated several years ago when Pelle Sadolin stepped down.
The future board of directors is composed of Peter Winther and Jan Kristensen. Together with Peter Frische and Carsten Gørtz Petersen they are the partners and co-owners of the company.
Although Kurt Albæk reduces his operational activities in the company, he is not ready to retire:
'In addition to my chairmanship, I shall continue to handle specialist assignments at Sadolin & Albæk - and if it turns out that my experience may be put to good use outside the company, I will keep an open mind to opportunities', he says.
Incidentally, in 2008 Sadolin & Albæk was by its international peers within ONCOR International awarded Company of the Year, while Peter Frische was named ONCOR Broker of the Year and Kurt Albæk ONCOR CEO of the Year.
