Aberdeen buys DKK 665m portfolio from TDC Pension Fund
04-07-2011: Aberdeen Property Fund Denmark P/S (the Fund) buys 22 properties from pension fund
The portfolio includes 22 commercial properties, primarily office buildings, comprising some 104,000 sqm floorspace in total. The properties are predominantly let to Danish TDC on long leases. TDC is the largest telecommunications company in Denmark.
In terms of geographic location, the portfolio is diversified, albeit with a majority of properties located on Zealand and in the Copenhagen area.
Sadolin & Albæk and Handelsbanken Corporate Finance were joint financial advisers to the TDC Pension Fund in the transaction.
